D Wade All-Star MVP
Dwayne Wade wanted to put on a special performance for the 2010 NBA All-Star game. He knew it would be in front of an NBA record crowd in the Dallas Cowboys football stadium turned basketball stage.
Wade drove the lane for several slam dunks. He gracefully lofted alley-oop passes so his teammates could slam dunk. And he lured the defense on him, then kicked it out to open teammates.

Wade finished with 28 points and 11 assists to earn the All-Star game MVP. His efforts led the East All-Stars to a 141-139 victory. The game was played in front of 108,713 fans.
Although it was not the same court, Wade had fond memories of playing in Dallas in the 2006 NBA Finals. That’s when Wade led the Miami Heat to a 4-2 finals victory over the Mavericks for the 2006 NBA championship.
